Default Does anyone have this neon C5 clock?

Scanned out of the Mid America catalog...I'm sure other vendors sold it as well.

I won this same clock as a door prize at a car show a couple months ago. The clock itself runs on a AA battery, but the neon is powered by an AC adapter.

Here's the problem...when I got home and opened the box, there was no AC adapter included in the box. I don't even know who manufactures the clock to contact about it, and since I didn't even purchase it, it's not like I can return or exchange it.

I'm sure I could find a AC transformer plug that fits it, like at Radio Shack or something, but I have no idea what voltage it runs on.

So, if anyone has this same clock, could you take a look at the AC transformer plug and see if there's any info on it, as far as the DC voltage output? Or, a closeup pic of the info on the plug would be even better.

Thanks!

Yup, I have it. It's about 5 years old now. Mine gave me trouble...the neon burned out. I was able to figure out who markets it, but for the life of me, I can't remember the name now! I do recall the company makes all kinds of GM authorized gadgets and clothing...they are in California. I sent it out for repair and they gave me a hard time about replacing it free...asked me who I talked to and all that BS. I know I will think of it in my sleep some night I'll post it when I do.

Here's some info which will hopefully be useful

I have the same clock, just mine has the 50th logo on it

The adaptor wire has a wheel switch in it (sorry, don't know what they're called)

This is the best I could, pic wise but have the information below it

Here's the information on the plug:

AC ADAPTOR
Model # : DV-1255-B16
Input : 120 VAC 60Hz 23W
Output : 12 VDC 555mA
Class 2 Transformer

Then is says:
LISTED
81J1
E81356

Hope that gets you started in the right direction

I have a clock that is very similar except mine is for the band AC/DC. I'm a rock and roller. The neon is actually not neon. Got mine on ebay for very little.

Go to ebay, type in neon clock and you will see hundreds come up. You should be able to buy what you need from one of the many sellers.

Well, the pic looked similar, but I've got different data on mine (black dial face, red neon):

On the back of the clock there's a sticker that says:
American Family Products"

The transformer says:
AC/DC ADAPTOR
Class 2 power supply
Model: MWY-DH120 - DC1201000
Input: 120 V ~60 Hz 0.18A
Date code: 0804

Hope that's some help (probably not - just more confusion!!!)

Thanks to you too.

Mine has no sticker, nothing to indicate who makes it or what it needs for power.

Your part # also seems to indicate 12vdc, which is what 4GTABODT also posted....this is what I needed to know.

I can find a cord for it now.
