Default I've been thinking about...

A new Z06. I just drove the C5 back to work at lunch, beautiful day here in WI ! I got out of the car & asked myself "why" I don't like the new colors, the "Z" is +/- 65K & I have a beautiful '03 MSG coupe w/6K on it & some go fast mods. I just don't think I can part with this car for a few more years. I D K, maybe it's cause I'm parking it for winter in a couple weeks & it'll be "new" again in the spring. Just had to share.

I can't afford a new Z06 but I have been thinking about a new coupe. Then I think about getting rid of my '03 and it really starts to depress me. I don't know what I'll end up doing but if I get rid of my current vette, it will be a sad day.

With only 6,000 miles on the clock you still have a lot of enjoying to do with that C5.

^^ so true. I obviously treat this car as a sunny day "pure fun only" toy as this is precisley why I purchased it to begin with. I'll probably wind up keeping this car for a long time & adding a lightly used Z06 or Viper...time will tell.

The C6 bodystyle still does not do it for me..I just think the C5 styling is so much better, the exception being the C6 Z which does look sweet. When the C6 came out it was rare for me because usually when a newer model car comes out, you want the newer one because it's and the latest/newest when the C6 came out though I remember thinking.... I'll keep what I have this time around

I want a white/tan '08 C6 w/ coil overs and CCW sp500s. I admit... the C6 has fully grown on me.

I love both my C5's, but as soon as I find an '06 VR/Oak mn6 vert for the right price, they're both history. Planning a wide-body w/engine by EG!

well if you can afford to keep the C5 and add the new Z06 that would be sweet!! I on the other hand I cannot afford a new Z06, my "new to me" 2001 SW Z06 has 23,000 miles and I plan to drive it everyday possible!!! I love the look of all the C5s!!!

The biggest problem (especially in WI) cause we (I) need daily transportation year round so, keeping the C5 AND buying a new or slightly used Z is definatley an issue. I would have to wait a # of years after the '03 is paid for to afford another vette. It is fun to dream though ! I know my truck & my wifes car won't last forever no matter how **** I'am reality says one of those will need to be replaced first...

I'm happy with my 03' MSG coupe

One day I'll get an 08, but it won't be a Z. Don't want all that power and no removeable roof.

Put a blower on it. You will have the power of a Z06 and save $50k.
