I just purchased a 2008 zo6. Has anyone installed a shift light. If so, any opinions on what brand and is there a pin available to hook up the shift light?

 

Caddi, You will probably get more direct responses on the C6 forum but I love my Raptor shift light. Small, bright and easy to hook up. There is a link to how to hook it up under the C5 dash but I doubt that helps for your C6. Good luck!

and go to INSTALLATIONS .... step by step instructions for the C5 and the differences are noted for the C6.

This may be a dumb question but doesn't the new Z06 have a shift light in the HUD like the C5 Zs?

 

thanks for all the responds. I did find the shift light in the hud. I would like to shift just a little sooner.

 

Would be nice if the entire HUD display changed color for the shift light instead of just a little un-noticable "shift".........can't see how this would have been a difficult thing for them to do when it was designed.......
