It is once again the time of year that the ground is turning white at night here in the PNW and the time to put the '02 in storage is almost here.
I always use Sta-Bil or Gum Out fuel stabilizer in my vehicles when storing them for the winter.
What I am wondering my first winter with the C5 is how to add the conditioner to make sure it is in both tanks and circulated throughout the complete fuel delivery system including the injectors?
Thanks!
btw, it sure is nice to see goodwrench put a banner in my post, NOT!
My method was to add the amount needed to about a 1/2 tankfull, drive the 2 miles to the gas station. Fill up and then drive to garage for the winter sleep.

Most of my adult life I've been a disciplined Sta-Bil user, But since I found Seafoam I've switched to it. Seafoam not only cleans and is a top lube, but also is a "stabilizer" making it a very good choice for storing lawn equipment, boats, snow blowers and of course the Vette.
Thanks for the info, Ed. I've used Sta-bil in the past, and I discovered SeaFoam here on the Forum. I've read the label on the SeaFoam, but had forgotten it could do all that!

Add when the tank is almost empty - that way the fuel preserver will be spread to both tanks. Then just run the car for a little while and it will be sucked through the fuel system.

I wish!
The car was 3/4 full and I had no time to run it out before winterizing.
(been working out of town , getting home for just enough time to do laundry, mow the lawn, feed the dog and hit the road again )
I added the stabilizer, then took it out for a 60 mile drive. stopped and topped the tank off and put it in the hibernation mode.
Hopefully the stabilizer made its way thru the complete system.
