Brake Noise/Problem
Guys,
I've had this brake clatter problem, so I thought new rotors and pads would fix it. Bought Pro-Slot Cryo's and semi-metallic pads.
Well, the clatter is still there!!! I replaced all 3 clips on each pad, yet when I hit certain bumps in the road it still makes a clatter sound. It's as if the pads are jumping around and bangin against the rotor/caliper?
Also, now a new thing...when I go backward/forward and step on the brake, I hear a clank!!! My Honda Civic does this, but I dont care b/c it's a civic...I dont want my Vette making noise!
Has anyone had this problem? Please help

So I finally found a fix for the problem:
For some reason, the anti rattle clips weren't keeping it from rattling! So, I broke it down to determine what exactly it was and confirmed it was the pads.
I mulled over creating some shims, but when I tried adding 1 additional anti rattle clip it firmed it up nicely! I took it for a road test and no more rattle!!!
