Collect Models, And Lighters!

I had an anniversary edition Ford Thunderbird and I collected all this rare stuff for the anniversary edition. Banners, mugs, pens, belt buckles, models, posters, etc. It took me years, mostly buying from ebay but also from forums. I eventually decided it was time to make a change in my life and move from NY to Cali right after college so I can look for work. I sold the whole collection in bits to various people to make enough money to make the move across country. I kinda wish I didn't but I don't have that car anymore and other then a poster and a emblem I think I am fine not having the rest. But then again that was a pretty average car. Still though, people in that club knew me as the guy with the anniversary Tbird and all the stuff I had on a cataloged webpage and everything.
Now with a Corvette. I think even if you eventually don't have your Corvette at some point, it's one of the coolest cars out there so it's still something cool to collect. It would be different if you were collected Dodge Neon memorabilia and didn't even own a Neon. You would be a bit crazy. But a Corvette, that's something fun to collect memorabilia for.
I just got my car a couple months ago and I already have a couple matchbox Corvettes and 4 shirts from Steve and Barry's. If you are looking for shirts you should check out S&B. If there is a store near you it's worth it. They have 2 for $15. Red, black, long sleeve, short sleeve, etc. Decent shirts too and GM licensed. I'm looking to get some larger diecast, maybe banners, etc.

S&B has them in the stores. I will take some photos of the ones I got. They didn't have jackets or anything, just shirts. When I was there they had Red or Black shirts. They are the C5 logo, pretty big, on the front and nothing on the back. Some say CORVETTE on them under the logo and some don't.
