Need Help Vert Exhaust
Picked up my first Vette. A 2002 Yellow Vert , 6 spd. What a blast it was driving it back from Knoxville to Dallas. Still has factory exhaust, I want to hear my Vette. Have appointment at LG to have the Street Series Headers and exhaust installed and dyno tuned this Tuesday. Looking at Borla Touring. Does anyone have experience with this exhaust on a vert? Worried about being to loud for a vert. Will be used as a weekend car and on short trips.

I rode in a friend's vert recently, and with the top down, the Borla's were too loud for me. I have a 2000 Mag Red Vert, and put a Z06 Ti system on mine, and with the headers/x-pipe and high-flow cats I'm putting on this weekend, I think it will be loud enough for me when I'm getting on it, but quiet enough to not be obtrusive while cruising and having a conversation, not to mention not garnering any unwanted attention from the local Gendarme!

I have the Borla Stingers on my 04 CE Vert and don'f find them to loud but I just have the stock headers on mine so don't know how it would sound with them on.
I think with the headers though it would sound AWESOME!

Have a Corsa Touring system on my vert and it is ...in my opinion great, loud when you get on it and love the idle sound too. At highway speeds it is pretty quiet inside..till you punch it. Check out your options before you need to live with something.Ask if there are others in your area that have systems and go listen, most people will be glad to offer that to you, I have. Take your time!
