Funny you should ask that question.
I have a habit that I just can not break. Nothing really bad but annoying to me beccause I know it is wrong.
I keep finding myself driving my cars with my right hand on the shifter all the time and my left hand at the 1:00 o'clock position on the steering wheel.
Being a racer, I know how this is just wrong, but I keep catching myself in this position.

Me three..... Really, how difficult is it to distinguish between "they're, there, and their"? Also, it's a good thing my car's not equipped with AIM 9L "Sidewinders". I'd be popping two or three of those off daily in traffic.

I also use the clutch to stop from rolling backwards instead of the brake when im at a stop light or whatnot.... probably not the best thing for the clutch?!

Melting Slicks
I've got a habit (not bad IMHO) of going to WOT as I come around a corner. Car sort of drifts to the outside but AH and TC kick in helps keep me pointed in the right direction. TC limits the wheelspin but does not shut the car clear off like I've heard others say. Just about once every time I drive my car gives me my fix. $.02

My bad habit is hammering the throttle when someone gets beside me at a stop light. I know i have nothing to prove but i find myself doing it anyway. Then afterwords i feel kinda stupid but somehow satisfied at the same time.:o

Taking the "scenic" route home when going the shortest route would be quicker.

My bad habit is texting my rich supermodel wife on my Blackberry while holding onto a Venti Irish Coffee from Starbucks (no lid of course) and smoking my hand rolled Cuban cigar while I drive 30 miles per hour over the limit in a school zone while passing a stopped school bus full of children. One of these days I'm gonna run out of hands....

I thought I was the only one who looked back at the car a million times! I park all the way out in the farthest part of the lot, not only for door dings, etc., but I get to look at longer walking back out to GET IN MY VETTE!

I suck at trying to avoid this. It is soooo embarrassing! I know people see me doing it but I can't help it!
