I feel for you...I've had a couple of my vehicles keyed in the past...now I just drive this baby on weekends (and maybe once or so during the week after work). I will not leave her unattended for a long time...and if I go out to the restaurant, I must have a table near the window where I can watch her, if not...I will go home and switch vehicles. I'm probably taking it to the extreme, but it certainly minimizes (never eliminates) the chances for vadalism. And, as you found out there are alot of jealous idiots out there.
Bummer...but if it did not cut the clear coat, consider yourself lucky. First, I'd try a bit of your usual wax to see if that removes the scratches/or a swirl remover. If not successful, try some rubbing compound. That will remove any wax on there but if it gets rid of the scratches, super...merely follow with your usual coat of wax.
If that fails, take it to a friendly body shop and let them take a buffer with compound to it, then wax.
Good luck.
Wet Sand with 2000 grit than high-speed buff. A high-dollar painter or high-qual detailer will be able to handle this. You may still be able to see a ghost in cetain light, but it will be greatly reduced without having to break the factory finish and repaint.
If it didn't penetrate the clear coat and a normal cleaner doesn't get it out, you can try GS47 (or was it 27??) Regardless, it really is the stuff the advertise on tv. I bought some at a local auto parts store a few years ago and it works wonders - as long as the scratch isn't deep.
So this might at least save you some elbow grease. I remember paying $15 for a tube.
Been trying to prepare my wife for this... she doesn't understand WHY anyone would damage a car just because they can't/don't have one. She cannot believe anyone would be so hateful as to not even care how hard she works to be able to afford it and tries to care for it. These A-holes don't know us and don't want to. They just hate...period. (SOUND FAMILIAR to world events?)
It WILL happen. (happened to me twice already) You don't stand a chance, these scumbags way out number us.
Sorry for your bad luck.

Re: new z keyed (sloth)
Sloth........Man, sorry to hear about this. You may be better off than you think.
Take your car to a GOOD body man. Don't try anything yourself unless you know your sh\t. If this guy is good and it did not go through the clearcoat he will be able to get it out by wet sanding. The keying may appear to have gone through the clear but you won't know for sure until an expert does his thing.
On my black Z06 a shovel fell from my garage and put this 2" scratch right on the side of the door. I thought I would have to repaint. I took it to Performance Body in Phoenix and the owner did his magic. It was an awesome wet sanding job that could have only been done with lots of experience. You have to know just how deep to wet sand. This is not easy unlesss you really have experience.
Good luck.......I'll say a prayer for you to the Corvette Gods.
Thanks for all the replies. I used rubbing compound and a q-tip. I then used touch up paint, and nail polish clear coat, and waxed the area. It looks good, but not great.
