@ 22 you might as well pull down your pants and grab your ankles. It's going to hurt.

Even with 0 points and clean record etc. They are probably going to hit you for like $2800 a year is my guess....and thats IF you have it as a 'second car'

Usually they will ream your g/f and your mother up the a$$ just because they can. THEN they will take your left arm + your *****. They will let you keep your first born because they need new customers!

Just best to call around to various insurance companies and get some quotes. You will find that the cost can vary considerably.

Youth has a big disadvantage when it come to auto insurance, and add a high performance car, $$$$$$. Try looking for a insurance co that will give you a break if you store your Vette in the winter. This will lower your premium. Also, a clean driving record while you are driving a Vette will lower your bill over time. Your Vette as a second or third vehicle will help reduce the cost for the Vette. I have Erie, they give these types of breaks for good drivers. Think about registering the vehicle in another state with lower premiums, and using a relative's or friend's address as the domcile for the vehicle, with their permission.

Glad I waited until I was 30 to buy my C5. Those insurance rates are scarey. I'm 38 now and getting away with $380 every six months with State Farm.

No offense, but they won't give out quotes in Jersey? Not sure what the fuss is about, I got a quote almost a yr before buying and it was within a few bucks.
