Even with 0 points and clean record etc. They are probably going to hit you for like $2800 a year is my guess....and thats IF you have it as a 'second car'
Usually they will ream your g/f and your mother up the a$$ just because they can. THEN they will take your left arm + your *****. They will let you keep your first born because they need new customers!

When I first got my Vette I was 22 and I was paying about $1k every six months with State Farm. Now Im 27 and pay $600 every six month with State Farm.
thankful for all the input, but if you arent from jersey, you wouldnt understand how different the rates can be. Looking for younger folk form jersey who have had a similar situation
Youth has a big disadvantage when it come to auto insurance, and add a high performance car, $$$$$$. Try looking for a insurance co that will give you a break if you store your Vette in the winter. This will lower your premium. Also, a clean driving record while you are driving a Vette will lower your bill over time. Your Vette as a second or third vehicle will help reduce the cost for the Vette. I have Erie, they give these types of breaks for good drivers. Think about registering the vehicle in another state with lower premiums, and using a relative's or friend's address as the domcile for the vehicle, with their permission.

Newark, Delaware- I insure a 02 Vert, 03 Yukon XL, 00 300M, married, both with clean histories, 250 deductible, Bod inj 300, Unisd Motorist 300, Prop Liab 100, cost was 1700 a year before vert. Vert added 1200 a year. What is the deductible for you guys paying 800 a year?

No offense, but they won't give out quotes in Jersey? Not sure what the fuss is about, I got a quote almost a yr before buying and it was within a few bucks.
