I put my inside my headliner out of sight. The roof is fiberglass, so no obstructions from metal, it comes in clear.

I tried under rear facia but reception was horrible! I really didnt want to but I put it on my hatch window and it comes in great. The trick is you must have it horizontal for best reception.

Under rear facia. Made 90 degree bracket that mounts to the rear tub. Antenna is about 1/2 inch under the rear facia.

Default DASH it

I have a 2000 vert and I use a dash pad to protect the dash from the sun. I put a small piece of velcro on the back of the antenna and it sticks to the dash pad and picks up the signal very well. Just ran the wire UNDER the dash pad to the radio and WALLA, it works great and it's eccentually hidden! Ron

I mounted mine up on the dash in the middle of it tucked the wire along the window in the crack and it came out perfect!

Use a piece of double sided tape or a small piece of Velcro!

Thanks,Matt

My reception sucked on the dash. I moved mine out by the window wipers. No one has even noticed it.

I used 3m automotive attachment tape and mounted it in the rear fascia right above the left inside tailight. Never have had a reception problem after 2 years and still rockin.Had to replace the speakers a couple of times but that is a volume issue.
P.S. I actually know when I am in the garage far enough for the door to close as the radio goes to acquiring signal.

My bracket mounts to the rear frame and pressure fits at the top. I think it also help reception to have the antenna near the corner not the center. I get great reception.

On the outside windshield washer tray?

Mine is currently mounted up front on the dash by the IR sensor (exhause vents). The stereo shop had a square black piece of magnetic tape (sticky on one side, magnet on the other). I just stuck it up there and ran the wires along the inside of the windshield in front of the dash pad....mine is also a Nav unit so it has two wires.
