I said when I got this car a few months ago, that I was gonna try to avoid getting caught up in the mod madness, so I havent made the followiing mods..Chrome Letter Inserts, Front and Back, Chrome lug Nuts, Chrome Hatch/Fender/Gas screws, Console Cover,Floor mats, Clear corners. Cold air intake, painted FRC;s Steering Wheel and airbag decal, painted rotors and exhust plate wee already not done..
Most of those mods, I DID myself. You got lucky........
I did my fuel rail covers, chrome letters front & rear. A little more chrome here & there (wheels, emblems front & rear including waterfall, plenum cover) .........Can you tell I like chrome? The car looks sweet & nice color too......
did you paint the FRC personally, cuz I want to do the same thing (but in red).
Any chance you can give me a step by step of what you did, and what products you used?
Thanks
Cleaned "obviously"with dawn, then alchahol. I used Krylon Fusion spray paint for plastic, then I went over it with Boyd model car paint to darken it up and as some metalic. I am going to do some air brush work on them or I would have already clear coated them. Prety simple procedure actually, just make sure you use long overlapping strokes and shake the can well and often..Hope this helps..
