Default Exhaust System

After reading the threads on the C5 tech forum, I have decided to go with the SS Autochrome headers (ebay headers) and x-pipe with hi-flow cats and my stock ti. Anyone know where to get some reasonably priced cats? Also, am I leaving anything out? Not an exhaust expert here, so I just want to make sure that makes up a complete exhaust system. Any feedback on that set up? Thanks.

I'd stick a set of Corsas on as well.

Thanks for the heads up on the avitar. How embarrassing. Yeah, see you in the morning. I was going to get the car washed today. Looks like a trip to the "touchless" in the morning. Where did you get your Callaway CAI? I hear those things have been backordered for months. I want that, exhaust, and tune then be done with it.

Why Corsas? Sound? Performance? I understand any muffler system will get me negligible power over the ti's. So if it's mostly sound, I will save the money for now. I want better sound than I have now and I think the headers and cats will do that. I don't want to be too loud. Wait a minute... maybe I do.

Default CARB sticker

I see you're in Sacramento .... you might want to be sure that either ...

* Any system you look at has a CARB approval "sticker"

* You have a "friend" who will pass your car for the bi-annual smog check

* The vehicle is an "off-road" only vehicle.

For example, other than the factory (OEM) cats, there are no "smog legal" cats available fot the Corvette in Cali.

Does anyone know the power/sound difference between the stock cats and any hi-flow cats? I wonder if the car would pass the sniffer with hi-flows? If so, I'm pretty sure I could get past the visual.
