Default LT Headers,HP gain?

RWHP is 330 with my bolt ons now, decided to go with Kooks LT headers.Looking for a good mid range punch, would 15-20 hp gain be a reasonable expectation with the headers.

I went from 325 RWHP to 365 RWHP with the addition of LG LTs (street version) with high flow cats on my 2001 Z06.

Every car will respond a little different to Longtube Hearders (regardless of brand). With a good Tune, you will probably pick up about 20-25 HP with the Kooks (or any other major brand Dynatech, American Racing, LG's).

If you don't get a tune you'll probably only pick up a few extra HP. It's all in the tune.

This data point is Kooks LT system in combination with another mod... may not be exactly what you're looking for, but here it goes....

I added Kooks LT headers system (LT headers + catt'ed X-pipe + midpipes), and, went from a 4.25 to a 4.0 pulley on my supercharger (to take advantage of the re-tune I was going to have to do). I got a mere 35HP gain. I was hoping for more.

On a different note, if you do go with LT headers, don't forget to get a tunnel plate. It will cut down heat to the cabin tremendously. It also adds stability to the body. Got mine is from Elite Engineering and I think it is fantastic.
