Ok this is retribution at its very best!!
First my car, basic stock C5 with z06 heads and cam installed by dealer when purchased new in 04 (I just bought the car a few months ago with 38k on the clock. No idea what the RWHP is but its a lil better than stock also a cat back system on it.
OK, Ok on with the good stuff A year or so ago I owned a 350z and though it was a good car it wasnt quite up to taking on a M3 on a straight line acceleration race, I know I lost to the same guy twice getting on the freeway not by much but he did beat me. To say he was a bad winner is an understatement!! He laughed and gloated when I caught up to him (after he slowed down).
Fast forward to today, Im getting on the freeway and into a lil traffic look in the rear view and there he was comming up fast on me! I know where he is going he has to change to the toll road and its a long sweeping curve transitioning into a three lane toll road so I decide this time will be a little different than the last time we met!!
As I come into the turn Im doing about 65-70 he's right on my tail, I down shift into 2nd and brake a little as I release the clutch im down to like 55 on a 25 mph curve and accelerating now, he is on me and pushing I can feel the tail end starting to want to come out as I near 60we're still in the corner twards the end now.
The RPMs were perfect about 3500 or so (im guessing at MPH and RPM cause I dont like to take my eyes off the road when im pushing the car) as we come into the straight transition of the toll road (405 south to 241 north if anyone knows it) the road is clear so I slide over to the outside lane and he pulls beside me, I drop the hammer on him big time!! I floor the 'vet and im two, three, four, lenghts infront of him!! I finaly look at the speedo and in the bottom of fourth at 120mph!! and he is waaaay back there and fading!! Oh man it felt sooo great!! I let him pull up along side and im ready to give him the thumbs up, he wont even look at me!! He is taking the "walk of shame" big time !!!
Later that afternoon I was getting on the same toll road further up and another BMW is getting on it has a dealer plate and im behind him, this time we both hit it at the same time (this was a regular 335 nothing special but it had a dealer plate on it) I pull around him and gone gone gone!! We both exit the same place and I look over again ready to give the good ol boy a thumbs up and this guy flips me off!!! BMW owners have no honour!!!
That was my BMW buffett I still cant believe it two beamers in one day a m3 that has been on my hit list for over a year and a dealer lol what a great day I will never forget!!

Street racing talk/stories is a no-no around here.

 

hell yeah, show those krauts who's boss. And yeah, by the way you will probably catch alot of flack about "street racing" because alot of people on here don't feel that using the pedal on the right is appropriate behavior on the street while in a fast car.

 

You have a modified Z06 which is much faster stock for stock than an M3... and no racing stories foo'

 

No its because its against the rules to post things like that on here. Try reading the forum rules before assuming that everyone on here doesnt street race.

 

Did you laugh & jump up & down like the first M3 driver did to you.
Did he recognize you as meeting a year earlier?
