Default Quick Emblem Qs.

If you remove the emblem on the nose, does it leave 2 holes or it doesn't leave any traces..? Thanks in advance.

I think the front leaves two holes but the back is attached with adhesive

Reason I ask is because Im interested in getting this car but I think it was its a pretty bad accident since the front emblem is gone and no sign of the two holes ( new bumper) and comparing the location of the Z06 emblems on the fenders, they seem to be off in comparison to other Z's.. also that "splash guard..?" from underneath the nose is missing. The underhood liner looks like it took a nice hot too while it was on the original hood.

...Help

the front might of just been resprayed and they took the emblems off and reapplyied them......and even if they put a new bumper it woould have the to holes in it....they had it bondoed and painted for sure....as far as the front spoilers...they could of been removed cuz they scraped alot....or could be cuz of damage u have to look at the car....u can tell if the alignment is off... good luck

You are correct, the emblems are too high on the fenders for the original placement. The hood liner has water damage. The hood liners are very fragile. That could have happened from a radiator overheating or some other issue.

Headliner damage, the filters look like something happened to them(also water damage?)? Front bumper has definitely been filled/sprayed or replaced (stock bumper DOES have two alignment holes behind the emblem), the Z06 side emblems are ridiculously out of place, suggesting the fenders were also replaced or resprayed.

There is no mention of any of these things, paint work, or anything in the summary. But the guys says he is a licensed dealer.

Personally, I would stay away from this sale and find another Z.

THere are WAY too many good cars out there that don't have a history like this one. The seller doesn't state anythig but a "carfax certified". Well a dealer doesn't have to report it if it is a part of their stock that has been damaged becaues they are "certified" dealers. There are even a few more red 03 z-06's on ebay right now. I will bet if you ask this seller about the front emblem & why the side emblems are not as to specs, he will come up with all kinds of reasons. ..........look else ware.

Thanks guys. Before I noticed the side emblems being out of place I sent him an offer of 25k and he counter offered 26.9k. Im going to stay away from this one. Once again, thank you all for confirming.
