Normally when people do this mod, it requires drilling into the door panel(a thought that makes even the mod-a-holics among us shudder) Thanks to a new kit from plasmaglow, you no longer have to drill anything and the mod is completely reversable.
Having a black car, Locating my door handle at night is more difficult than other color cars. I decided to hook the LEDs up to the interior lights so when I unlocked the car, they lit up.
Here's where I got mine. $20 shipped: http://store.newlevelmotorsports.com/leddohakit.html
Here's a shot of the strip. It orignally came with foam double back tape, but I removed it infavor of 3m's exterior mounting tape (it's thinner and stronger)

To install:
First remove the door panel and the speaker plate. Also remove the door sill. Then route the wires though the door handle from the outside as shown:

Next run the wire through the door cavity. I used Duct tape to hold the wire against the panel so it doesn't get in the way of the window movement. Run the wire into the footwell through the rubber accordian-like conenctor that holds all the wires to the door. I taped the wires to an existing speaker wire and pulled it through.

To turn on the LEDs with the inteior lights, tap into the foot well lights.

The result:

To my knowledge this mod can only be done to the C5. C6 cars don't have any gaps in the handle to run the wires and C4's door handles don't have enough space for wire running. C3s have unique door handles.
