Rear Axel

Well my day finally came.. had some grease spots on floor... Made appt and brought my 03 convert in. Rear axel seal leaking on left side. Thank goodness for extended warranty.

I spoke to service writer and I said to him why don't you do the other side .. Replied not leaking will not change it.. Has anyone had any trouble with right side axel leak

Had this problem I don't remember which side leaked but they re sealed the entire box.Dealer said once they seal it should never leak again.

I have an 03 Z06 (that I bought new) and have had my left rear end seal fixed in 04, 05, 06, and also this year. I need this fixed more often than I need an oil change.

I think that as the years went along the problem just got worse. Getrag must be paying for the repairs or GM owns the company.
