wheel offset

Im thinking about getting a set of Zr1 wheels for the track( just the rears) but i was told from a c4 owner that i would need the Grand sport wheels because the offset is different. He stated that the Zr1 wheel was a +30mm and the Grand Sport was +50mm...can anyone chime in so I dont buy the wrong wheels.

When I bought my vette it had 17x11 ZR1 style wheels w/ +50 offset. You need those, not the true ZR1 +30 offset.
