Default Question about 2001 ZO6 Wheels

I have a 2001 ZO6 and I have installed 2004 Z16 Polished Wheels on my car. My question is the back of the 2001 ZO6 wheels only have a stamped GM logo mark on one of the spokes. The other marking is I believe the PN and Mfg Date 6-13-00. What would these wheels be worth I hear they are lighter than any other ZO6 wheels produced is this true? My other Question how much or what would be good fair asking price for these wheels (No Curb Rash)?

They all sell for the same price. I think they are lighter but are cast and easily crack compared to the forged 2001 wheels. About 300 per pair or 600 for all 4.

edited for typo...

The original 2001 wheels on the Z06 were FORGED and a bit stronger. In 2002 they went with CAST SPUN rims that were just a tad bit lighter and not as strong as the original FORGED rims. The 2002 - 2004 Z06 rims also look slightly different from the 2001 Z06 rims when compared side to side due to this difference as well.

This was similar to change they made on the original FORGED painted rims on the 2000 Coupe when they changed mid-year and the rims on late 2000 - 2004 non-z06 (painted rims only) look slightly different as they had to use thicker spokes than those used on the original forged rims

If you look at my "REUNITED" post, the second owner of my old 2000 Coupe had an issue with this. My 2000 had the forged painted rims. She wrecked the car and had to have the front driver's side rim replaced. The insurance company replaced it with one of the NON-FORGED RIMS that looks different than the original FORGED RIM (and the other rims on the car for that matter.) I suspect alot of people that have had to have their rims replaced in similar circumstances both on the coupes and the 01 Z06's might have had the same thing happen.

The road race guys like to find these as they are a bit stronger. I think they are worth a little more as well. The ones you have were made by Alcoa and are forged . The 02-04 were Speedline Wheels and are spun cast as stated above. I got the Z16's for my car a few months back.
