Default Dyno Tune

What would it cost for the dyno tune and what can I expect to change?

In this area you can probably expect to pay around $500 for a good dyno tune. What mods do you have? I'm not so sure that I'd dyno a car with no mods (unless you're looking to establish a baseline) or a few bolt ons. I had my car dynoed in stock form because I planned on adding the supercharger and wanted to know what I was starting out with. If you've got an A4, the tuner can adjust your shift points a little.

Usually one will run you $500+ (But not too much more!)

You'll expect at least 20 RWHP (w/a good tuner) and that will depend on your mods you've done!

With a bone stock set-up I'd wait and get a few boltons then do a Dyno tune to take full advantage of your upgrades! Otherwise you can buy a handheld programmer and up your performance too!

A Dyno tuner as stated above can adjust an A4 to perform much better and so can a handheld to a degree (again with a mostly stock Vette!)

What have you done to it and or what are your future plans in the eway of MODS?

Thanks,Matt

Jacksonville\Orange Park Florida, a dyno tune on a stock car is around $100...on a dyno day where a group comes it can run $60 each.

Are you refering to a Dyno "RUN" or a Dyno "TUNE"? -

Which will cost way more than a $100.00 bucks for a reputable tuner to take someones Vette and do a Dyno performance tune!

Dang because if that were the case I'd have a bunch of re-tunes done on mine!

Thanks,Matt

This is true for a dyno run. A dyno tune will generally cost about $500, as stated above. I have seen some for as low as $350, however.

I know you!

And he is talking about a Dyno Tune, on Dyno days around here shops do stock cars for around the prices hes describing, it only takes a couple pulls to get a stocker in line so they dont loose any time doing it.

For a proper full tune on a modded car your probably looking 350 and up, and price isnt everything, just becouse one guy costs more then another does not mean he is better. I highly suggest you spend some time with the local tuners in your area, get to know em, its a little like entering into a relationship, research and get a feel for em first and go with who your most comfortable with.

Around here, a dyno tune costs anywhere from around $350 up to $500.

Dang - tune at 21st Century MC (includes pull) was $149

But - this is Texas, and tuners here don't wear a mask when they take your money

One thing youll find with most tuners who "include pull" and only charge 150 bucks is they are slotting only so much time to do yoru tune, when the times up so are you.

I charge a little more then twice the price you quoted above, but when i start in the morning if it takes me till midnight to get it perfect then so be it, or even more then one day, its done when its done. Your not gonna get that kind of commitment for 150 bucks..

Hey Euro (wild-man)..yes I was talking about a Stock tune on a stock car on the dyno where you do a couple to 3 pulls and barely adjust AF..not a modded wild thing like your driving !! A tune on yours would run $350 to $500 bills but I thought he was talking A stock (virgin..hmmmm ) car since he said what can I expect to change. (pit-man)
