Polish the rear end myself (only what you can see if you were driving behind me)

...he works 3rd shift and is off-line currently...
... I'm waiting for him to show me how to polish my "rear end" also...
... his undercarriage is immaculate.

Thanks for the great reviews. First, If you have a lift its makes the job much easier. I don't have one yet, so I had to jack the rearend up and lay under it. Almost made a bed to lay on
Theres how I did it.
Tools: Dremel Tool, lots of the buffing and grinding accessories for the Dremel, Plam sander, Lots of sand paper (from course down to very fine sand paper,Emery colth last longer until you get down to the very fine paper) and of course lots of elbow grease.
Dremel tool works best on A Arms, Plam sander on center section.
Remove rear wheels and take off sway bar
Then your ready to go. Just start grinding and sanding until its very smooth and shines. Then your ready to polish.
I used Master Formal Metal Gloss polish. It comes in 2 parts. The polish and Sealer. (I use it on all my chrome) You can fined it at Metalgloss.com
Dremel tool with cloth buffing wheel on A Arms
Plam sander on center section (I made some cotton pads for the sander that seen to work very good)
Thats it, No big secret. Of course I done this during the winter. When I knew I wasn't going to be driving the Vett much. My best guess is about $75 in sand paper, accessories for Dremel and a few hours under the car. Cost of elbow grease???? Who cares, I was working the my Vett
What better way to spend those cold days and evenings. If anyone has more questions. You can PM me. Or you can call my phone, but I don't if we are allowed to give out phone numbers on CF.Hope this helps and again Thanks for the great reviews.
