My left blinker started blinking like crazy when ever its on now. And I also noticed that my amber light in the front left of my car is also out. How hard is it to change out this bulb and where can I buy a replacement bulb at?
The bulb can be bought at any auto parts store. To replace you have a couple options.
1. Go in through the front brake duct. Push the duct back, up, and out of the way.
2. Turn the headlights halfway up and reach in through the opening. Have to have really small hands and arms for this one.
3. Raise the front of the car and go in through the access panel under the front lip.
Number 1 is the fastest and easiest, if your arms aren't too large.
Any of the three are easy to do, just get in there and get busy.
Any auto parts store. Just reach through the opening for air to the breaks and move the ducting out of the way then you will be able to reach up and get to the socket for the bulb there is a tab that needs to be pressed then turn the socket and pull out through the hole the remove the bulb and replace with a good one and put every thing back. The whole process takes 2 minutes tops, CAUTION you need to have a smaller hand or get someone who does. You can jack the car up and remove the panel forward of the front wheel but that takes more time.
you got your hand in there or did you have to jack up the car?
couldn't get my hand in there, had to take the cover off the headlight 4 screws i think, then reached down in aside the headlight unplug the bulb then get it out through the brake duct hose.Do a search for this there are other posts on this. good luck
