Default Halltech stinger or Vortex Rammer?

Which one is a better setup? I can get the Vortex used with a carbon fiber air bridge for the same price as a new Halltech. I'm not worried about any water issues with the Vortex I just want the best bang for my buck. Thanks.

LOVE my Stinger. Opened up the fog light housings for some cooler air since this is not a ram air system. Not a single regret though!

I have have a Vortex Rammer for over 4 years... my father has a Stinger on his '04 Z16.

If you have the black plastic inserts in the front bumper openings then go w/ the Vortex to get air from outside the engine bay.

If you remove the inserts and put Z06 screens in then cold air will flow in directly to the filter element of the Halltech. The Stinger is easier to install and can be turned back to stock easier.

Power differences will be nill.

I'm leaning more towards the Halltech just for the fact that it's easier to return to stock when I sell the car to buy my Dad's 06' ZO6 when he upgrades to the Blue Devil. If I can afford his car that is..

Yep, no cutting of the radiator shrowd required with the halltech. Get a tune after though, you'll be running lean.
