Has anybody gone the Royal Purple Tranny Oil Route yet (Royal Purple Max ATF) and if so how's it working out for you?
I've got 70+ K miles on my Automatic and am getting ready to change the filter & tranny fluid.
Thanks for any input in this matter?

I'm using it, on my upgraded A4 from RPM. Seems to work fine and I don't seem to get the high temp that the stock fluid was getting

Royal Purple isn't recommend for the long haul, because it tends to break down much quicker then the stock GM fluid, but if you change your fluid every 20,000 miles or so you'll be fine. I personally don't put more then 3500 mile a year on mine so changing it with in a couple of yrs is OK.
