I have the C5 creations stretch bra that snaps on and off. I too thought bras looked ugly but this one actually looks pretty good, covers the whole bumper and goes on and off in less then a minute. Keeps my tigershark chip free. And can be put away in a mag the size of a soda can.
I think rock chips look so I've had a SPEED LINGERIE bra/mirror covers on my car since I got it. There's to much construction debris, squishy yellow bugs and small rocks flying off the roadway and tires. Twice, it's also protected the front bumper from being just a little to close to a curb...

One came with my car when I purchased it from the original owner.
I tried to put it on once but the straps that criss-cross under the hood for the hood portion scared the hell out of me; visions of the straps getting tangled in the belt and sucking the bra and hood off my car like somthing in a cartoon
The mirror covers sucked pretty much as well
I ended up selling them and the bra; reducing the overall price of my car by a cool $50!
Have not missed them since.
BTW, the one BIG rock chip I did pick up was above where the bra would've covered anyway.
The factoy GM Z06 bra is almost always on my car, unless it's raining (dirt gets trapped on the soft felt underneath in the wet, and that's when it'll scratch the paint). I'm used to the looks, which I think are just fine. Had one on my last C5 too.
Can't describe how many times it's saved the font end from damage--paint cans, small animals, misc. road debris, you name it...
