Corsa Touring with Long Tubes?
I have the Corsa Touring catback and i am going to get headers. Under normal driving would i be much louder? Dont want to be too loud for cruising,but want to hear it when i get on it. Replies please LT.

I have that setup, corsa touring and long tubes with high flow cats. I like the sound the way it is, it will probably get louder when I put in the new engine I am building though (heads/cam). I went to corsas from B&B route 66 mufflers to quiet it down a little. I have a set of TIs just in case its too loud for the corsas after the swap. I think you'll like the setup after you get the longtubes on....

I dont have the touring but I have the pace cars which are louder and have headers, x-pipe, and no cats. Its isnt bad at all when cruising but when I get on it, it is extremely loud. When cruising, I probably hear my cam more than the exhaust.

I have that exact setup and, believe me, you will love the sound. Nice sound at idle, not obtrusive at all while cruising, but all hell breaks loose when you stand on it. IMHO, it is the ideal system for all around enjoyment. Go for it.

I have that exact setup also. I used to have the GHL's, and when I put the headers on and got on it, I got two tickets the first month. Both for "exhibition of speed". Cops told me that they were attracted by the loudness.
I sold my GHL's on the forum and bought the Corsa Touring and they've been perfect.
