Default Tailight Blackouts?

God i feel like a freaking newb(And yes ive tried using the CF's seach button) but i am having a very hard time trying to find a website that sells Blackout tailight covers that are the stick on ones that are rounded...i can find plenty of the flat ones that go on with screws, but i dont like the look of the flat ones

So can anyone direct me to a website that sells the Rounded tailight covers?

Gotta give it to Richard at Corvette-enhancements as well. Great product and quality. Covers can't hold a candle to Richards work. Here are some pics of Richard's black cherry tail lamps, 3rd brake lamp, and rear side markers and reverse lights.

I have the static cling ones that you are talking about and have never had any problems with them. They have never blown off either. But eventually I am going to get the blackouts from Corvette Enhancements.

Ecklers blackouts and I modded the tail lights to come out closer to the end of the bumper.

Don't know if you can see the parking light blackouts.

I've used all 3 types of blackout covers: vinyl, flat plexi and molded. None of them fit well. I'm also in college but I managed to save up for Richard's LED kit. They are by far the best looking blackouts on the market:

If you can live without your car for a few days, you can send ALL your stock lenses in for less than the LED tail kit.

god those look so good, im a black c5 also with the chrome combination

another thought i had was getting the nightshade spray tint, but instead of spraying the outside of the lens and it coming out dull. I was wondering if you could take the lens off and spray the backside so the outside if it is still glossy but the back is tinted???

Has anyone done that? or will it work?

I tried night shades on a test sheet of plexi for my amp rack's windows. The problem is that unless you're a very experienced painter, you'll never get a perfectly uniform coating. I still have the can of it sitting in the garage.

even if you could spray the back side, you'd still risk hot spots.

Yes. I use the same procedure when painting plexiglas. If you paint the backside, the front side comes out glossy and isn't as fragile.

Your car looks great, I have Richards entire blackout kit and love it!!! Our cars are almost identical.

I also have the static cling blackouts (front & rear) and they've been on for almost three years now. For $16 I got the effect I wanted and can easily peel them off if The Man ever decides to pull me over for the blackouts. I recommend them.
