Rims are Halibrands .. stock sizes.
They really add a sparkle to a black car
(plus . . I'm an old school gearhead .. I like Halibrands on '41 *****'s with blowers, AC Cobra's, just about any Fuel Altered Coupe ..an my Vette
The shot was hiway 60 outside Globe, AZ .. we were just cruisin with the top off all afternoon, went out to -almost- Lordsburg New Mexico an back (from Phx). Sundown temps got down to low '70's ..and we wussed out and stopped to put the top on.. figured it was a great place for a photo
Any of you are more than welcome to stop by the ACE forum for Phx area cruises and local fun
BUnch of us got lost on the back roads on a topless cruise last Saturday .. we had vette's scattered all over southwest Arizona ..it was a beautiful night
We eventually found the mythical Sonic in Casa Grande an filled it up with swoopy cars
I cheated ..once I got seperated from the crowd I just hit I-10 and drove down to Casa Grande -evil grin- ..someone did mention a 'race' .. wife and I were almost done with our milk-shakes when the first of the rest of the Phx crew began trickling in.
Of course .. the Tucson-Yuma group had just about given up on us slackers from up north ..they kept asking me if we were the only ones from Phoenix -LOL-
