I want to buy a new hoodliner for my 00 coupe. Where is the best place to purchase one?

The dealership. The shipping cost will kill you if you buy one that needs to be shipped.

Scared to go to the dealership so they can hit me with the Corvette tax!

My 02 hoodliner from gmparts direct is:

GM PART # 10285631
CATEGORY: Hood Insulator not available for sale due to size
PACK QTY: 1
CORE CHARGE: $0.00
GM LIST: $111.53
OUR PRICE: $68.43

My dealer cost is usually in the middle of the two above, looks like they will not even ship (gmparts direct)

The best hoodliner is from carmotorsports.com. You can have the hoodliner shipped or for cheaper price, they will send you the covering and you do it yourself. They are great and will last forever. If you don't want to spend alot, then go to a chevy dealer and get stock liner.

If you want a fancy hoodliner painted by Paula I have a buddy who has one for $350. It's a real show item! Looks like a ribbon but it's also like an American flag....very nice.

It depends on what you want, if you only want a stock one, your dealer or some of the suggestions about gmparts.

If you want custom, there are two ways to go. Paula does a great job with custom painting and you can spend anywhere from the $350 quoted above for a simple job and anywhere up from there for really custom.

carmotorsports puts out a great embroidered hoodliner. It's done on heavy felt and glues on over the existing stock liner eliminating any possibity of delamination. Prices vary depending on if you will install yourself, it a simple job that took me 1 hour, or buying one fully assembled. Self install prices also save in shipping costs. They use hi-temp threads and the work is excellent. I had one in the 04 Z06CE I owned.

They both have websites so check them out.
