I took a friends C5 w/ sensors to a tire shop, and he did them for $15/each and that included sticky weights. I knew the owner well but normal price is $25/each for carry in and not on the car.
For the people that buy tires mail order what are you paying to have run flats changed out. I called an installer and was told $269 for 4 tires.
Sounds a little steep. I have changed from run flats to non-run flats, got balanced and the road force balance for $20 each. I brought the wheels and tires to the installer. I would not think run flats would be any higher. (Maybe a little higher, but not $65 each)
Good luck
That's way too steep! Was that an "installer" recommended by the tire seller? Go to Tirerack website, check for their recommended installers in your area.
I had mine installed for $62.00, that's tires installed on new rims, and road force balanced with sticky weights. I took them the tires and wheels. I thought I got by pretty cheap!
Yours might be alittle higher, because you're having a set of runflats removed, then a set mounted, right? Need to consider that , too.
I had my four, "new" bought from CF, runflats installed at Tire Barn for $100.00 including balancing. Only place nearby that could do runflats. They took good care of the wheels and tires and made sure they were installed the right direction
