Default climate control panel

As noted in July Road & Track, the climate control panel on c5's tend to fail - mine has. Is this a do-it-yourself job? Any suggestions?

Contact David Ruberg, he can fix it for $60, just had mine done last month. Fixes them the same day he gets them with a 5 year warranty.

Common problem, Gm still has not fixed it. My 07 G6's lights are already going out.

I did mine myself.

Quick and easy. There are instructions on the main page for changing the speedo bezels. You can use those up to the part where they start removing the speedo area.

I would definitely recommend doing it yourself using the instructions posted, worked for me and I am a noob when it comes to work on my C5. Just a heads-up, take your time doing the work and make sure you do not touch the soldering iron on the chips for more than a second, the old solder will come off and the chips will move out of place, causing more grief than you want. Good luck
