Been a busy boy: revised w pics
Since Sunday evening I have change both fuel senders and painted all 4 calipers on my 98.
I can trust my fuel gage now and it's much quieter also, the old pump was singing really bad. I have run out of gas twice but made it to a station both times.

Did you just tape over the "CORVETTE" text before painting, or use a dremel tool on it after???

Painted over the letters and let dry for about 2 hours and then I used a razor blade to peel off the paint. The key to that is to make sure that the paint is good and dry before you do it or else the shavings will stick to the Caliper and really **** you off and you will have repaint the area you screwed up. I'm speaking form experience here.

Yea. I just thought that everyone might be tired of seeing painted calipers by now. Gald I can share.
What's funny is I can see where I need to do a little detail work to my wheels around the lug nuts and the back side of one of the wheels. You can't see that from 10 feet away.
