Recently purchased a 2000 FRC that has been cammed, has longtube headers and aftermarket exhaust. The problem is that I dont know what the specs are of the cam that has been put into my car. I am wondering if the car has also been chipped to match the cam. Can someone give me an Idea?
Chip we dont need no stinking chip. Your car has two computers one is under the battery and the other is under the glove box. Neither one has replaceable chip in it like older cars do. You just reprogram it. Thats why I hate buying modded cars you never really know what all you're getting. I would take it to your local tuner and have them check it out.

Where are you located?
The computer that controls the engine is under the battery, you access it by pulling the passenger front wheel and removing the plastic cover that is behid the wheel, your computer is in there.
You wont be able to see if anything has been programmed with your eyes, post your location and im sure we can refer you to a good tuner in your area who can scan it for you and see whats been done.
