I did the clear corner install yesterday. What a PITA! The end result was worth it though. They look simply amazing.
Big thannks to Matt at Corvettes of Houston and to everybody here who helped me.
This forum is a great resource.
glad I could help....there is really no way to describe parts of the process but I think a lot of it is self explanatory after you get into it. Add in some and and you are all set
I also used pewter99's directions, other than having reversed a bulb and getting a hyper flash (my fault for rushing) the job only took less than an hour. great write up!!! If you email me a pic I'll host and post it for you. Bill
I ordered these same corners this week, they really look great. They are more expensive, but worth the look. JDMVette, what is the best LED set up for these? Switchbacks?
Was considering these for my MSG. I like the orange driving light look though. Do these bulbs inside of the clear then do away with the orange lighting and are a white running light? And if orange is installed, does it light up the area as full as the OEM look?
Thanks
I used clear amber 194 led for the side markers, and Silverstar clear amber for the turn signal/ running lights. They look clear but when lit they look like stock amber but a little brighter..

IMO it's even better than stock. I went with the Silverstar amber bulbs.
