College, and even your day writing a paper, is an investment in the future. You're way ahead of the game driving a Z while in school - hell, I'm 50ish, and an engineering manager, and driving my Z and loving it.

There are plenty of days of good driving in your future. Do what you have to do, but keep a balance.

Thanks for the pep talk. I was just a little burned out from writing. I am going to Colorado Technical University online which is easier to manage family, work, and school. Any opinions about online schools or this one in particular. I am going for my Information Technology degree with a minor in software systems engineering. Good degree?

"family, work, and school" and a Z06.

Life is pretty good when the only thing your stressing about is your Vette.

Wait till you get bit by the mod bug.

No doubt I am Blessed. My greatest blessing is our adopted daughter that we struggled with the birth father for two years. He finally signed in Feb.

Just make sure the institution has (regional) accreditation.
Note! National accreditation is easy to obtain. Even some “diploma mills” have this. Regional accreditation is a lot tougher to get as the curriculums have to meet rigid standards.
All (state) colleges and universities as well as the Ivy League institutions have both accreditations… consequently their credits and degrees are fully transferable.

A Degree obtained through an online program is equal to those obtained through traditional routes …so long it is from an institution that has both accreditations.

Get you school’s accreditation status verified independently…
Good luck.

Your profile doesn't say where you're located, but if you were in the NE, I'd say send me a resume' when you're getting close to being done with your degree and it would be about even money that I could get you into something in the aerospace industry.

I know exactly how you feel. There are tons of days I spend studying and preparing projects that I'd just rather go rip it up in the Z. Just keep remember when your done w/ school there are only bigger and better things to await. At least that's what I tell myself!!

Default Could be worse...

I had shoulder surgery last week Monday and haven't driven mine in over 10 days...hopefully tomorrow my doc will tell me to lose the sling and I can get back on the road with her. I go out in the garage everyday to make sure all is well though. Sucks driving my rainy day car, even if it is a new 4x4 Explorer...

I got my IT degree through night school in 02 - your investment will pay off quite well, hopefully a lifetime full of Z's

Zultar, Thanks so much! I am currently still enlisted in the USAF but my contract expires in Dec 08 and then I will definitly look you up. Colorado Technical University is regional accredited. I will be so glad when all my school is done. What are the degree's you fellow Vette owners have if any?
