Quick fix.....or dealer fix????
Hi, my driver side window goes down but stops about 1/2 inch from the bottom
. Is there a quick fix I could do, or should this be taken care of by a dealer (I"m not real handy unfortunately).

Do a search, I remember reading a post on how easy it is to rremove the door panel..........remove the door panel and at least see if you can determine what the problem is..........if it looks like something that you can not fix then go to the dealer.........before I go to a dealer I try to at least know what the problem is..............

if you can get through removing the door panels, there are adjustments on the windows to adjust travel up and down . i will call them STOPS .
Something lik a 5 to 7 mm socket will get the job done . don't really remember the socket size .
unless you are stopping because of an obstruction like a harness or something .
again the only way to find out is to remove the door panel , run the window up and down and see why it stops early .

If you think you can do it yourself, that's the way to go. If you find that it is beyond your skills to repair, then take it to the dealer.
