Default Momo Shift **** Fitment?

My car has a manual six speed transmission with a stock shifter (2002 Z06).
Can you guys with Momo shift ***** please explain the installation procedure?
How did you install yours?
I contacted Momo.
They responded by saying-

"All MOMO shift ***** are universal. As such there are no threads to match your lever. Our shift ***** will fit levers that are between 8 and 15mm in diameter and have a round section. Rubber caps are used to provide a tight fit to the lever and provide isolation from metal-to-metal contact".

Hopefully those of you with the Momo **** will chime in and explain how they mounted theirs.
Thanks,
Silverbird

It's easy and self-explanetary when you see it.

It comes with several rubber bushings, one of whch will snugly fit over the shifter shaft. Then put the bottom cap of the **** on over the shaft. Then put the shift **** on, and once you have it aligned as you want, evenly tighted the 3 small set screws at the bottom of the ****. Then finaly, thread the bottom cap onto the **** to hide the set screws.

Your application/photo was the reason I decided that I have to have the Momo!
It looks GREAT in your car!
Thanks for the quick reply!
Is that the stock shifter you have?
Did you cut down the length?
I don't want it sticking up too high.
Is the mounting tight and secure?
I love that parking brake handle you have as well.....how was the installation on that?
Is thata Momo?
Thanks for your help,
Silverbird

I have the Hurst shifter, it's a bit shorter than stock, but still a bit tall for my liking. Next time I have the console out, I'll probably shorten the Hurst an inch or so.

The mounting system has worked fine for me. This is my 2nd Momo ****, had them on the car for about 5 years, and never had them loosen.

The parking brake handle was purchased from WCC, but I can't seem to find it on their site now, maybe a discontinued item? It was a pretty simple installation too.
