AH WARMING UP messages that occur after you've been driving the car a while (the EBCM has successfully calibrated the SWPS already) are an indicator that the SWPS is getting flakey.

Bill, Thanks for all the info. It is going to take a bit for me to digest it all, or see what I am capable of figuring out. in all honesty.... It seems easier to just replace it then go through everything.... But I see the point to nail down exactly what is wrong. I could end up no where.
Maybe this is superstition...
I just find it odd. I never have any issues in the day light.
I realized when it activates it is cold and night. and then I realized my headlights are adding an electric load.
it will activate going 50-75 mph... totally dry and totally straight. mostly while letting off the throttle coasting down to a slower driver.
My tires are new and I already went over tire pressures.
but it has done it's fair share with cruise control on as well.
This started happening a couple days after I got my car back from a clutch change. I have an aftermarket clutch so I have different pedal pressure, and I asume the pedal needed some adjustments for this. the front end should have nothing different about it.
I looked and I can see the connector down there for the steering sensor by the clutch pedal. I dont know if it got bumped when it was being set up, or maybe me or someone else hit the connector with the foot?
