Well I finally broke down and got a digital SLR Nikon. This thing is amazing. I will be spending the rest of my life learning the options. Finally a camera that what you see through the lens is what you get. The bumper emblem was shot only inches away. Hope you enjoy. I bet photobucket is going to scale these down so hope they look good.
My digital camera (Kodak something) tends to blur the pic whenever I take pics at night. If I use a tripod its ok. If I use a tripod with the timer on its even better. Tried playing with the settings but no luck -- image not coming out as I expected.
Been thinking of getting a new digital camera...maybe on black friday, Xmas or day after Xmas....
Nice Pictures. I just brought a Nikon Digital Camera myself. Which model did you buy.

I went with the D40x which is 10.2MP, it was that one or the D80, but the 40x has the same processor, only major difference is that the D40x uses the new generation of Nikon lenses, old AF lenses will work but not the AF portion the user has to manually focus.

I will try tonight, I am going to benchmark the shots against my Kodak.
However, the standard has been set by Z06 Jim with his Canon S3 IS. His photos are simply awesome! I've come to realize it's not always just about mega-pixels. The lens and the image technology have a part to play also.
