I just got the ProClip in. Although yes, a nicely built product, it is overpriced to say the least. Also, the mount itself that clips onto the trim, is POORLY fitted. The double-sided tape doesn't even touch on both sides of the trim piece, which means, the mold is a bit on the wide side for the trim piece it mounts onto. The result...a loose fitting mount.
Has anyone experienced this problem? Or is it just my luck?

Update!
I tweaked the clip with a heat gun and got that sucker tight enough around the trim piece that I won't need the tape. No slip..no ratlle. COOL.
To remove it from the car when the time comes, it will be easy since I now won't have to wrestle with stick tape.

I clipped mine in without using the foam tape and it's been in place for over 2 years now. I think they're around $70.00 shipped, but to me it's just a one-time purchase that was well worth the $$$

I have almost a brand new one at home:
the clip for the vette, and the padded part for the video ipod....
as you can see paid over $70 for them shipped....
asking $50 for both...
vette clip still even has the 3M tape on it...
