I just got the ProClip in. Although yes, a nicely built product, it is overpriced to say the least. Also, the mount itself that clips onto the trim, is POORLY fitted. The double-sided tape doesn't even touch on both sides of the trim piece, which means, the mold is a bit on the wide side for the trim piece it mounts onto. The result...a loose fitting mount.
Has anyone experienced this problem? Or is it just my luck?

I think its just your luck. It didn't look to me like the tape was going to make contact either so initially I didn't use it. Got tired of the mount slipping and popping out and reinserted using the tape. No issues since.
I clipped mine in without using the foam tape and it's been in place for over 2 years now. I think they're around $70.00 shipped, but to me it's just a one-time purchase that was well worth the $$$
