I was out for a drive yesterday in my 04 Z and about 6 miles into it my check engine light came on. The car was running great and all gages were reporting good numbers so I'm a bit confused why it decided to come on.
Anyone have an idea of what problem might have caused it to activate?
I'm going to see if I can get the codes later on today.

Common problem is the gas cap.
Take is off and clean around the seal and make sure you it is on tightly.
"04s" do have a fill tube TSB and maybe you have a leak.
Mine did this when I had the car inspected and they pressurized the
the system and a few miles afterwards, the light came on.
I followed everyone's instructions and pulled up the code below.
P0803 1-4 Up-shift Solenoid Control Circuit (M/T) -B
B2272H Left Mirror Motor Fault DCM-L
I added a CAGS shift eliminator a little over a year ago and I'm wondering if it's going south for some reason. I can shift any time I choose so I know it's working but for some reason it's throwing this code...
Here's the entire procedure to read and then clear codes (which will also turn OFF the CEL).
Turn the key to the ON position, but don't start the engine.
Clear any present messages by pressing the RESET button.
Hold the OPTIONS button down, and press the FUEL button 4 times. This will get you into the CODES section of the DIC.
The computer will automatically display all the codes your car has created.
It will cycle through each code every 3 seconds.
Any code that ends in H is a history code (something that has occured in the past) but is fine now.
Once the computer has finished going through all of it's codes, press RESET to enter Manual Configuration mode.
It should start with a module and show "NO CODES" or "# CODES".
To optionally reset the codes once in manual mode.
Press and hold RESET until it displays "NO CODES".
Press OPTIONS to go to the next module.
Repeat these steps until you have reset the codes in all the computer modules.
Only reset the codes IF you want to - it is NOT necessary to do this.
