Im getting ready to buy tires for the new C6 wheels and have been researching the different brands. The GS D3's seem to be most popular for obvious reasons but Im not liking the tread design I prefer a more traditional design. After looking at pics and talking to dealers I think I like the BFG KDW. The KDW have two different tread designs one is called traditional and the other is called contemporary, I think. The latter is the one with the squigly lines in the tread. I see people on this forum talking about the KDW II. What do these look like and what do they have over the KDW contemporary tread. Im not talking about the KDW S I know thats a whole different animal. Any help appreciated.
Thanks
Brad
I don't like the KDW2 tread design either. I did not like the V-tread design of the Michelins or the GY GSD3, so I stayed with GY F1 SC tires when I got new tires for my Z06.
NOW, if you want a nice sticky BFG tire, I like the KD's
I have a set of the KD's and they are pretty nice. I also have a set of the Goodyear, GS-D3's, very nice. If you drive in the wet, the GS-D3's are the best.
