Kinda late to put yourself on a pedestal after calling someone else crazy for having a different opinion. It's OK, though. I am pretty immature for my advanced age...
I dynoed my 2000 Z28 with a MTI lid at 3500 miles and got 299.6rwhp. Later I threw on MAC mids (with cats) and a LS6 intake and got 330. After that things snowballed to the mid-600rwhp set-up she currently has. Makes for a change of pace from the Z06...
I feel you on getting your car ripped. I had one of my CBR600s stolen and my Grand National got stolen TWICE!

Also forgot to mention, this SS had over 60000 miles on it.
Whether that is factor here on an LS1 motor or not. My vette has over 70000 miles and runs the same when it had 5000 miles.
0 - 60 4.80s best, 1/4 miles 13.20s best !
Not to mention the 0 - 100 times between the 2... my best was 11.50!
I don't think any stock f-body can do that... correct me if i'm wrong.
