So, How did I do...
He has a 2002 C5 M6 coupe, mods include: K&N filter with high flow air duct and coupler, LS6 TB, MDS coil packs, Headers, X pipe with high flow cats, and Magnaflow exhaust, I think he had BF Goodwrench non run flats (I do know it was non run flats, just not sure about the brand).
I have a 1999 C5 A4 convertible Z51, mods include: Blackwing, Bassani X pipe, and Borla stingers, Goodyear Eagle F1 run flats.
We split the six races with both of us red lighting once.
Tossing out my red light; here is my average for the other five races:
Avg Reaction: .2660
Avg 60': 2.2370
Avg 330': 6.1067
Avg 1/8 mile: 9.2104
Avg MPH: 80.114
The difference from highest and lowest:
Dif Reaction: .2719
Dif 60': .1123
Dif 330': .1319
Dif 1/8 Mile: .1768
Dif MPH: 1.06
So, how did I do? Be honest, if my driving sucked I want to know.

I have a similar setup on my 1999 Z51. Mods include; x-pipe, catback exhaust and dual cone intake. My best was as follows:
R/T ... .039
60' ... 2.179
330 ... 5.94
1/8 ... 8.992
mph ... 81.72
1/4 ... 13.77
mph ... 102.34
Being that it was your first time that's not bad. But with some practice you sould be able to get a little better times. Even the times mentioned above for me were when everyone seemed to be running about .3 slower then normal because it was extremly humid, basically drizzeling. So great job for a first time. Get some more runs in and see what you can do.
As long as you had fun that's what counts.
Wow, a R/T of .039 that is awesome. Last edited by chadluedecke; Nov 10, 2007 at 05:12 AM.
It's really not that dangerous, especially with a street car and not some sort of pro drag car. It's just like punching it at a light, maybe staying on it for a few seconds more but really not much more dangerous then that. My mother was like that when I started going to the drag tracks when I was 18. She thought I would kill my self or something. I'm still here 8 years later though.
Have fun
Your stats seem pretty good for a first timer. Keep it up. The thing I like best about bracket racing is if I lose it's my fault but nothing I couldn't fix or improve next time. It's all about good reaction time and consistency not speed. Great fun though isn't it? I encouraged my kids to run at the track (Englishtown. NJ) for a good safe outlet. (but not with my Vette)
Bracket racing is great. It's also a good race for automatic trans cars since consistency is the name of the game. Doesn't matter how fast or anything. I've seen 17 sec civics win due to being consistent.

I wish I had some pics or video to post of the races but it was a last minute decision to run and I didn't have anyone there with a camera.
So, maybe some pics of my C5 will due:
