As I was driving to work the other day, I moved over into the left lane to get past a dump truck at a red light. As I eased to a stop at the light, there was a Trans Am sitting at the light in the right lane with Z06 badges on the fender. He looks at me as I pull up beside him, then at my fender badges and just lowers his head and looks straight ahead. His car sounded good and may have even had an LS6 engine in it, but Z06 badges??? I drove by him as he crept away from the light. Seemed embarrassed!!

 

WOW!

That is just sad, what drives people to do things like this...

What Z06 badges did he have?, maybe he had the "Z06 505HP" badges and thinks his car is faster than your measly "405 HP" .

It's one thing to put them on a non Z06 'Vette, but on a Trans Am?

What's next, Z06 badges on an Aveo?

I've had 4 Trans Am's, and that is the saddest thing I've ever heard.

Looked like the 405 badges, but my eye sight could be questioned. Still sad for a nice looking and great sounding car!!

 

He may have had some 243 heads as they are a popular/relatively cheap upgrade for the F-body guys. As a matter of fact, I have an LS1 out in the garage that has 243 heads and a G5X2 cam that is going in my 70. I am going to have LS6 FRC's on it. One of my sons buddies told me I should put some Z06 badges on the 70. I don't think so, not for me.

 

Yep, and he ruined it with a stupid badge that means nothing on his car even if he did infact have an LS6. He should've put an LS1/ LS6 badge on the car instead.

It takes all kinds, someone posted a pick of a C6 vette with Ferrari stickers on it.

 

You need to get some static cling WS6 decals and good out gunning for him!

 

You can get LS1 badges that look like the Z06 ones. They usually put their Dyno number on them as well.


I saw one better when I was on leave. 93-97 Camaro with trunklid C5 emblems on the sides with SS emblems on the rear.
