Default What next?

I've seriously been neglecting my performance mods and it shows with the dyno reading a little over 320 rwhp. So, after the new year I'm going to beef up "buffy's" performance.

Application: 97 coupe 110K on the clock
Existing performance mods:
- Vararam w/ high flow bridge and coupler
- 78mm ported TB
- WCC X pipe
- Borla stingers
- Lucas 32 lb injectors (for future expansion when my old ones died)

What area should I attack next:

1) B&B tuned shorty headers?
2) Torque converter/rear end swap?
3) AFR heads and Cam swap?
4) Upgrade Cooling system with SPAL fans, low temp T-stat, new radiator?
5) Coilover suspension

Thanks.

I'd do the headers next, but why do you want the shorties (just curious).

3:73's/Yank SS3600 stall gets my vote . This combo alone will knock off more then half a sec in your 1/4 mile times.

The answer is #6) All the above.

You are going to get all of this done eventually because that is the nature of the disease. Some of us are just slowly dieing from the progression of this sickness and others are a full blown terminal case.

You might as well go to Hell in a handbasket as fast as you can.

The B&B tuned headers:
- provide the work space of shorties
- significant torque increase
- Can easily be installed with hand tools (from what i've heard) this means no shop fees

Yes they're all going to be done, but I'm just trying to figure out the order and If i could save time/money by getting a few done at the same time.

.
I was planning on going with Shorties for these same reasons but do not plan on going for massive HP. I just wanted the low-mid rpm torque benefit.
If you are going for higher HP numbers I'd go with the long tubes instead.

Headers, torque converter, gears, then heads/cam.

I like this order, but might do the gears before the converter (if done separately).

That is, if the "performance" you are referring to is speed/hp.

If you mean the handling as well. I think you might do some other things before the coil overs.

At any rate, I don't think you will need to do the cooling system with this kind of hp. It should get a tuned after the headers and retuned again, you can lower the temp for the fans at some point, that should be all you might need.

Houston summers in traffic tend to put an extra strain on the cooling system.

I'm not really concerned with peak HP as much as big torque curve with alot of area under the low-middle end.
