CCW 505a's polished here, i used wax the 1st time i cleaned them and now i use a detailing spray, i'll wax again b4 i put it away for winter, have them about 8 months and they look great! most importantly is every time i use the car i clean the wheels when i get home, dont want brake dust on them for any period of time. i use a very soft micro weave

When my CCW's arrived (back in February 2007), I first applied 5 coats of Zaino Z-5 and then two coats of Z-CS... then I switched to ceramic pads, wash wheels (and dry) frequently... they still look good too...
Prevention will postpone the inevitable... polishing --- but it is not a matter of if, but rather when .
Oh... and they are worth it. The wheels ROCK and get compliments all of the time.
I use Rejex on mine. They are holding up really well and it keeps the water spots from staining the Aluminum. I put a coat on back in May, and then just recently put another coat on.
