...but if someone did pay that, they'de have to keep the miles about where they're at to retain such a crazy value. Then what the hell's the purpose of owning a Vette you wont want to drive. To each their own I guess..........

I see no prob every now and then posting something other than a C5, I don't get to the other forums and to see a change here is nice now and then. Too bad you had to delete it. O well... Maybe we should not have an avatar with a C4 in the picture, Only a C5?

....but back TO the subject, when I sold my old '64 Fury to a collector in Virginia a couple years ago, there in his warehouse was a mint '90 black ZR1 Corvette with the 37 miles on the ticker that the owner said was what it took to drive it there from the dealer....
....and he hasn't driven it since. Still has the factory plastic wrap on the seats and the steering wheel.
What sort of dementia goes on in the head of a person that would do such a thing anyway? There was even a C5 with something like 17 miles on it on "cars online.com" last week.
I think it's simply ridiculous! But then, who am I?
