I made a post a couple a weeks ago asking if anyone had experienced a problem eith their dash lights not working when the headlights were turned on. I got one reply (I'm not sure who) saying he had same problem and it cost him a couple of hundred to get his light switch/turn signal/cruise control stem replaced.
It sounded logical since the lights worked ok when ignition was turned on, door opened etc. Another poster sold me the part off one he was parting out. I installed it this morning following instruction someone else posted here and all is OK. $50,.00 a bit of time and I can drive at night and watch the speedo again.
